Achilleus withdraws from the battle after his war prize is taken. He goes back to his mother and asks for a favour. To ask zeus to punish the greeks until they beg him and persuade him with more women. The will of zeus dios bule. Achilleus the best fighter should have as much honour as agamemnon. The gods plot, then have dinner, served by hephaestus who they laughed at. Agamemnon receives an evil dream telling him to go into battle. He tests this by asking who"s ready to go home . The greeks agree to go home, revealing they"re done. Odysseus says excellency! etc to those showing cowardliness says the right things to the right person manipulation hits them with a rod (his whip) to get them into action. Thersites ugliest man achilleus hated him as did odysseus. Thersites speaks out against agamemnon (but has abused odysseus and achilleus in the past)
