Introduction

practices, streamlined work processes, and sophisticated data analysis tools across all
divisions and operating companies.
• As a result, the company could reduce staffing levels in some areas of the business by as
much as 30 percent, thus improving productivity and cutting costs.
• In addition, the time required to complete month-end financial reporting was reduced
by 30 percent, with an increase in the accuracy and reliability of the data.
• When implementing an ERP system, an organization has an opportunity to upgrade the
information technology (hardware, operating systems, databases, etc.) that it uses.
