Primary functions of the udhr: maintain global peace by avoiding destructive global conflicts, promote economic development and growth, protect the rights of minorities and all states, whether large or small, protect basic human rights. Udhr articles: right to equality, we are all born free & equal. We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way: freedom from discrimination, do(cid:374)"t disc(cid:396)i(cid:373)i(cid:374)ate. These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences: freedom from slavery, no slavery. Nobody has any right to make us a slave. We cannot make anyone our slave: right to equality before the law, we"(cid:396)e all e(cid:395)ual befo(cid:396)e the law. It must treat us all fairly: right to adequate living standard, food and shelter for all. We all have the right to a good life. Mothers and children, the elderly, unemployed or disabled, and all people have the right top special care and assistance: right to education, the right to education.
