Terracotta warriors were built during the first emperor"s reign, and placed outside of his tomb. Agriculture and war were more important than literature, according to the chinese rulers, during this dynasty. The rulers of china rejected the legalism of the qin dynasty, and used confucianism instead during this period. China re-unified after being previously divided during the 6 dynasties/period of division. The capital of china became very cosmopolitan due to the silk road.
