More rapidly, carry huge amounts of commodities, etc. Boat is very efficient way of transportation, cheaper than a truck. Most of the goods are brought to you by boat whenever possible. Un convention on the law of the sea 1982 (diagram) During colonial period or times before the make up of rules on the sea, a lot of people stole from other ships, and plundered. Over time this changed with the make up of rules and the un convention on the law of the sea. All of this has to do with the un convention on the law of the sea.
