Talks about how you relate to your world, you need to have motor, thinking, and emotional skills and you bundle these skills together to interact in a social context. Belenky- introduced women"s way of knowing and she suggested that women are different than men and in the way they operate in the social context. She drew attention to the notion that women"s ways of interacting in society are actually quite different. The fundamental difference between women"s way of knowing and men"s way of knowing is the different between concentric model and straight line model of applying rules. There is no difference in the way men apply rules when it comes to their own children, other people"s children,etc This linear judgement gives men a certain power, because it separates relationships from logic. In women, they believe that their own friends, family etc deserve to treated better than strangers do.
