Biomedicalization: biomedicalization: deriving from the term medicalization, biomedicalization is a multifaceted term which includes changes within institutions, practices of contemporary medicine, and the innovations which are implemented through technoscience. Fisherman describes biomedicalization as a complex concept which challenges boundaries and social forms. Technoscience: technoscience views technology and science as mutually interacting disciplines. It is the notion that there is a reliance on science for solving technical problems, as well as the application of technological knowledge to solve scientific problems.
