Unconscious: many of our everyday behaviours are unconscious ones; not easily influenced to behave differently. Conscious: behaviour that we are aware of/what we could be aware of if we pay attention to it; what we could change if motivated to do so. Conventions and customs: the way we are normally expected to behave in the view of the society. Ideally, the superset of all 3 categories; no way moral and legal behaviour can now be contained in conventional behaviour. Moral and legal behaviour may be very similar but customs/conventions can be very different in within societies. A lot of our behaviour is dictated by convention and custom behaviours. Moral behaviour: convention behaviour that is important to the functions of society move up to moral behaviours. Most moral behaviours can be contained conventional behaviours but not totally e. g. telling a white lie about being sick to avoid a meeting.
