Industrialization of society + modernization of culture -> secularized societies. Religious authority loses its power because scientific evidence can answer many questions. We live in a society that values and respects other people"s beliefs. Religious powers are supposed to be one power. Less likely to turn to the supernatural world/powers. Are aware that global warming is a result of human intervention of nature.
