Document Summary
Subject: opportunities for pollinator habitat enhancement on wlu waterloo camp. This report is to identify three sites on the wlu waterloo campus that could easily be enhanced to provide additional habitat for native pollinators, including bumblebees, butterflies and hummingbirds. These sites have been indicated with red stars on the attached map, which is colour-coded to show the overall suitability of the wlu campus as pollinator habitat. I have listed the sites in order of priority and provided a summary of the modifications or improvements that would need to be done to each site to maximize its potential. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at ayel6290@mylaurier. ca. Site 1: area of grass located on the north-eastern part of the athletic complex. This site has a lot grass and is a big area with good soil. The area gets a decent amount of sun.
