Important to choose a potential journal and target audience at an early stage. Important to reward yourself when reaching intermediate and final goals. Gather key publications related to your paper and add notes under each heading w appropriate citations. Replace notes with rough sentences to build paragraphs (6-8 sentences) Make sure paragraph has head (first sentence that summarizes essence of paragraph) and a tail (bridge or final sentence that connects with next paragraph) The most important parts of a paper (the first thing editors see, the way people will search for your paper) Some journals only allow single titles, other subtitles possibly with a colon.
