Anima & animus - feminine & masculine archetypes within both sexes (like ying & yang) He believed the go develops around age 4 and does not obliged the id. He brought knowledge to 2 attitudes: intro/extraversion (an internal, active world versus a highly sociable, energetic projective experience)
