Pour a solution of alcohol and water on gunpowder. > 50% alcohol gunpowder will ignite this is 100% proof that the solution is at least 50% alcohol. How much are people drinking: complicated answer, canadians rank relatively low, a small number of people consume the vast majority of alcohol- 20% of the population drink 80% of the alcohol.
