In the 21st century, much of the media/news. 2 outlets are propagated with endless amounts of clickbait and exaggerated truths to catch viewers" attention in hope of better ratings or more views. Computer technicians have rooted social media with an extensive amount of algorithms to help combat the fake-news but the overwhelming amount of clickbait media has made it difficult to cover everything. I"d lie to you , brings to light the issue of fake news and the post-truth politics era that we are entering into. The article suggest that post-truth politics is used to bring people of similar emotion together, but that the use of exaggerated truth can sometimes be seen as a detriment to the integrity of the political system.
