Go online and find 4 other definitions of listening. Describes what we need to do to listen in a proper way. Pay attention to the visual aspects will help with listening. Eliminate aspects of noise to help with hearing. We select different things; looking at something will make it easier to hear it. Interest makes motivation high it will make it easier to hear something. More knowledge you have will make it easier to listen. More familiar you are to the material the easier it is to listen. Tend to apply what you previously learned to future events, take our past and bring it forward. Memories are consolidations and we put things back together. Must seek to understand from the sender"s point of view.
