Khafre"s pyramids smaller than khufu"s, but it looks similar with it because it was built on a higher ground. Pyramid of unas smaller climate change in egypt affected the building. Middle kingdom: black pyramid of amenemhet (one was built in the new kingdom, the last pyramid that was built in egypt, was totally collapsed) Mummy-mania and the role of napoleon(1798) when egyptology started. Mummies were consumed as medicine at 12th century. All death rituals originally for the ruler (popularized later)
