Date and location: monday, october 30, 7:00-7:30pm, ba 110. Weight: 15% of final grade in the course. Multiple-choice (10 questions, 1 mark each, 10 marks total) Students will answer all ten (10) multiple-choice questions. For each, they will have to choose the best answer from a range of four (4) possible choices. Each multiple-choice question is worth one (1) mark. Students will answer one (1) short essay question, for which they will have to provide a more elaborate response and explanation, as well as formulate an informed, reasoned opinion. Students will not be graded for spelling/grammar, and a formal introduction and a conclusion is not required. The essay question is worth ten (10) marks. The in-class test encompasses all material covered in the lectures and readings from oct 13-oct 24. (material from the readings will only be testable to the extent that the former has been raised or discussed in the lectures.
