GS212 Lecture Notes - Lecture 6: Kevin Mcclelland, Abrahamic Religions
Document Summary
The discussion about peaceful relationships between multiple religions is always tough topic to fully understand. There is a lot of conflict that always arises and multiple problems that seem to have no further solution other than to defer the conversation. In this report, i am going to take an in depth look at how there can be a resource that allows one religion to develop a peaceful relationship with members of another religion. First off, i am going to be giving an overview of islam, christianity, and judaism. One thing that is common amongst these three unique religions is that they are all monotheism. With this being said, they all believe in one specific god, they believe that there is only one rightful god. When looking at islam, allah is the god in which they look up to and believe in. Christianity, jesus christ is whom their god is, and judaism believe in yhwh.
