Looking at how different countries relate to and deal with each other in all kinds of important ways: economically, politically, culturally, militarily, etc. There are over 200 countries in the world. Almost all spaces on earth have been claimed by a country. The exceptions are antarctica, the atmosphere near space and the high seas (the middle of the oceans). Physical environment defined by borders (politically human-made or naturally present like a river or coast). It most importantly features territory and all the natural resources on top, below, or surrounding it. Useful rocks and minerals (silver, gold, coal and oil) Countries are considered to be owners of their territories and all natural resources therein. The following are the top 10 countries by territorial size: russia, canada, united states, china, brazil, australia, india, argentina, kazakhstan, sudan.
