Now, let"s say you did not know this or, if you did, that you don"t have a car and have no easy way to get: introduction. For example, anyone foolish enough to dump a truckload of hazardous waste (like, for example, unwanted industrial chemicals) in a roadside ditch would, if caught, pay very large fines and probably spend some time in jail as well. This is because they contain trace amounts of mercury. You are not supposed to put these in the trash you take to the curbside.
