Justice: behaviour is ethical if it is fair and impartial in its treatment of people, impose and enforce rules fairly. Serious defect was revealed where cars would explode in a crash. They also found that it would be cheaper to let the car explode and pay for compensation than to recall every car and make repairs. They used a utilitarian approach to make their decision.
