How are decisions made in meetings: authoritative (the leader decides alone, consultative (the leader listens to the group and then decides, voting (the majority wins, consensual (discussion continues until everyone agrees) If you want a participatory meeting: ensure all attendees get the agenda before the meeting, make your expectations clear (have attendees prepare in advance, ask people to bring materials and information to the meeting.
