Organization begins with vision : what are we all about. Mission: how are we going to and not going to do this, choices. Internal organization allows strategy to become reality, it executes strategy. External environment causes problems, always have to adjust for the environment. Must understand elements that can push off course. Achieving financial performance: profitability, return of investment, better than competitors, solid profitability that is growing and good compared to other organizations. If you don"t achieve other factors beside profit, may not be good and may not last. Meeting customer needs: satisfied with product, anticipating what they need, delivering it consistently. Building quality products and services: provide the best quality for what customer pays for, value for money, deliver it consistently.
