Over 42 days of the trojan war. The iliad is the greatest literary story ever told: developed and perfected over centuries by bards. Trojan"s main temple was to athena, but athena was supporting the greeks. Greeks depicted as the destroyers of civilization. Helen, the daughter of zeus and leda: birth. Helen of sparta, later helen of troy. Zeus and leda, the queen of argos or sparta. Zeus appears to leda as a swan because she is too faithful to her husband, Rapes leda as a swan, she produces 2 eggs, one with 2 royal children, the other 2 semi-divine children. Tyndareus" children castor and pollux: side note: Pollux amazing boxer, and castor amazing horse tamer become great friends. Castor dies, pollux says he"d rather die than be without his brother. Zeus give pollux a choice: to be immortal or semi-divine with his brother and they would spend one day in hades and one day on olympus.
