Virus atack was aimed at planes, trains, boats, military, the blackout. Blaster was a worm, didn"t need other programs and was self acivated. Oicial report stated that there was no relaion between blackout and blaster. No doubt ater this that online virus could do serious damage in the real world. Could atack water, electriciies, etc through their internet connecion. Internet was never really designed to be secure not meant for online commerce and online banking. There are no secure computers of secure networks. Three types: white hats good guys, black hats virus writers, grey hats work both sides. Maiaboy took down several notorious websites, at 15 was asked to join the most powerful hacker groups at the ime from russia (2000)
