Analysis of how people make sense of their everyday subjective experiences. Main object: commonsense: knowledge that i share with others in normal, self-evident routines of everyday life, no verification; self-evident; i know it"s real. Focus on the here and now zone; what is most practically relevant to individuals. I apprehend the reality of everyday life as an ordered reality. Its phenomena are prearranged in patterns that seem to be independent of my apprehension of them and that impose themselves upon the latter. The reality of everyday life appears already objectified, that is, constituted by an order of objects that have been designed as objects before my appearance on the scene . It is paradoxical that man is capable of producing a world that he then experiences as something other than a human product.
