Chapters 7, 4, 5, 11, 8, 9, adolescence & fam (2 hours auditorium) Home staying: living in home past 20"s (males accessing home the longest no post-secondary education/work) Intergenerational home residence: (moving on in time) living in home at ages of 30-40; school and occupation is variable to the situation. Good amount of youth do leave home mostly or school reasons. Due to recession and financial reasons most people attend post secondary in the closest proximity to home. Youth may leave home for independence, employment a partnership, conflict in time home and other reasons. Females tend to leave home earlier, they are more independent (this is seen globally in industrialized countries) women tend to marry earlier then males and are more likely to begin a family earlier. Young women leave home earlier then men because there is more parental supervision of females.
