Meaning attached to concept of family: family was once a community, but now it"s only family members communicating to one another. Undifferentiated life there was no private life, your community is your life. Small & nomadic 50 ppl, move around with each season, subsistence economy (daily have to find food, no stock piling food but instead their whole life was trying to find food to survive) Shared economies & leadership no land ownership. No formal hierarchy few inequalities (comes down to ownership of material things but most ppl won"t have too many things b/c you have to carry everything from place to place) Unit of production hunting and gathering food is their product.
