Peta ad: trying to get people attention and make you aware, they have somewhat of a bad rep. Ministry of health portugal: sedentary people ad. Del mar: associating being overweight with a cow. Relatively little is known about this communities consumer behaviour. This group is treated as being deviant. Study individuals from this community and then overgeneralize: e. g. if you interview 50 gay men, then say it applies to all gay men. Dolce & gabbana and abercrombie ad: an example of gay window dressing, telling a story may be interpreted different based on the audience. If you are part of the lgbt community, you will interpret this ad differently from a straight person. If a % of the population is lgbt, that is a large number that you can support and sell a product too: support from a company towards this population. This community wants to be a part of ads to show that there is nothing different about them.
