Introduction - types of advertising: the first billboard ever recorded was coca cola, humor used to sell there"s plenty of room for all god"s creatures (moose). Right next to the mashed potatoes - this doesn"t always work because someone that is a vegan might be offended. It would mess up the natural lighting of the sky and the astronomers wouldn"t be able to do their job** not on the grounds of moral. The beauty of this is we can reach people when they"re out of their home, money"s in their pockets and stores are open . Criticisms within industry: bob garfield environment pollutants it is visual pollution to our senses. Ad clutter our environments are latterly cluttered with advertising : ads then have to battle with others for space. Ad fatigue we are exhausted with the amount of ads .
