With so much more of our lives being online, this has become so much easier. Need to create global citizenship to help some of our biggest social issues today. Cultural dimension: cultural ideas and products are conveyed transnationally through: Physical migration predominantly white western european people in early 1900s to canada, immigration population has shifted which means that population has shifted. Internet gives increased connection to each other. Electronic communication more marketing and sharing of cultural (cid:862)produ(cid:272)ts(cid:863), (cid:272)ha(cid:374)ges the (cid:449)a(cid:455) our so(cid:272)iet(cid:455) ru(cid:374)s. Marketing of consumer products: concern that we might eventually all end up the same. Food, preservation and pride of culture, rejection of other ideas. Vision of globalization: potential: globalization of production will bring employment to the developing world. Ex) more people have access to medicine than in the past, greater awareness of the global community than in the past, the only way to combat discrimination and prejudice is through education.
