Document Summary
It should be the opposite, should expand our view of the world. Identify the work- introduce the art youre looking at. Where are we as the viewer, enter into the painting, what is it saying. Express what you see, think, and feel in relationship to the art how does it speak to you. The two trees that are further away are farther apart, like an entrance into another world. We cant see the top of the trees. The people stand not moving, which way are they going. What appears is more than what appears, there is more. Lots of vegetation makes it seemingly impossible to cut through. The people are looking at the horizon longfully. Theres no direct path in sight to get the people to the bright horizon. Desire to move toward a more hopeful future. Off in the distance there is a bright blue path moving toward the horizon.
