Scientific research makes it relatively very high quality. We convert our research question into a hypothesis. Variables=things that vary what we are interested in. ^^ find a better picture of the process in written notes. Mediating variables= variables that effect relationship between 2 variables. As we generate/test theories, it usually causes us to ask more questions. Mediating variable is a part of causal change. Moderating variable is not influenced by the variables. Tool must be a good fit for the question.
