Group : a collection of three or more people who interact with one another and are independent in the sense that their needs and goals cause them to rely on one another. Groups are more than a bunch of people who happen to be occupying tbe same space. Groups are people who assemble together for a purpose. Forming relationships with other people fulfill basic human needs. Innate need to belong- people who bonded together, we better able to hunt grow food, find mates etc Groups play a role in defining who we are.
