Eg1: bit on tongue while chewing food, didn"t realize she was biing on her tongue b/c didn"t experience pain. Eg2: experiment on her didn"t experience pain from hot water; no physiological changes when she was exposed to painful simuli. She never shited her weight when siing or standing. Didn"t have the eye-close relex when objects come close to her eyes. Died at the age of 29 from infecions that occurred b/c she was insensiive to pain.
