Two types of research methods : experimental and correlational: identify & explain the three conditions of causality in social sciences research. In psychology, it is generally accepted that there are 3 conditions necessary to provide sufficient evidence of causality between two variables: concomitant variation - the variables are empirically associated with each other. That is, changes in one variable are associated with, or will lead to changes in another variable.
