19 y/o naval serviceman (billy bosko) arrives in court in virginia. Expecting to be met by his partner, 18 y/o michelle moore-bosko, but she doesn"t show. He isn"t concerned b/c she had just started a new job. They had gotten married after graduation in secret. Her parents were not sure about it b/c billy struck them as a wrong side of the tracks dude. He goes home and finds the door knob broken off. He notes how neat the apartment and thought michelle had cleaned it for him to come home to. He notes how neatly things are laid out on the hash wall (space that accumulated clutter) Enters the apartment hoping to take a shower, but when he calls out for michelle there"s no response. Finds her dead in a pool of her own blood when he enters the bedroom: drowned in her own blood, futility to this.
