Human nature continuum: on one side: completely natural, you"re just the way you are, homer, plato, not as far as homer, can be affected by the society and people around us, on the other side: socially constructed. Humans have a soul: humans can have an ordered soul or disordered soul. Just or unjust: actions choices have consequences, thinks gods are good, friends of the just, myth of er, afterlife goes to elysian fields, or tartarus, comes back to life as a human being. Just world theory: you get the life you choose, you get what you deserve in this world, christianity, greeks, liberal thinkers. The soul is divided into 3 parts: reasoning, tool to get what we want to get, asking good questions, appetite, temperate, if too appetitive get tied into the grubby world, courageous, to face the mess of the world.
