Last week we discussed things in part 1 which according to blackburn would make ethics non existence. In part 1 the apparent threats and presented. Last threat to ethics: continuation from last week. Mauuoise foi: idea of bad faith, made its appearance in connection with philosopher. Satre"s idea was this: someone suggests that you should do something, they have this plan and want you to be a part of it and than you say to them, oh i couldn"t do that it would be wrong. When you say it would be wrong it would be as if you are discussing a moral view or expression. When you say that would be wrong, two things are going on: 1 you are pretty much saying you won"t do the thing. 2 you are hiding behind something, what you really mean is you will not do it but your not owning that.
