Document Summary
Diseases of the male and female genital tract. The female genital tract consists of the vulva, vagina, uterus (cervix and body), fallopian tubes and ovaries. The diseases chosen for discussion have been selected for various reasons: some are common, at least one is preventable, and several illustrate the natural history of a disease process. We will review the prostate gland - prostate hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma - since these represent common, clinically important disorders and testicular neoplasms. Diseases of the male and female genital tract - key terms.
