The philosophy of care is centered on the needs of the individual and focused on enhancing independence, choice and personal wellness for the residents who live at mount hope. Transitioning to long-term care: who regulates ltc facilities, ministry of health and ltc. Living at home vs retirement home vs ltc: retirement home: you have more independence and can do a lot still on your own, psw are still there but not as often.
