How is research different from common sense or intuition: you can have opposite ends of the spectrum" evidence and make it fit to your theory, so we need evidence to get the correct answer. What is evidence-informed practice: we use evidence-informed research to apply to our practice. Its about what fits the needs of this patient: rct is the gold standard (quantitative) where you control for everything possible. How can using research evidence make you a better nurse: experiential learning will continue to advance your practice.
