Ethics refers to those values, normal, principles, virtues, and traditions that guide human conduct. Bioethics, known as healthcare ethics, refers to the study of ethical issues that are related to health and healthcare. Has been defined as the fair distribution of society"s benefits, responsibilities, and their consequences. Looks at root causes of disparities and what can be done to eliminate them. When recognizing and acting on problems of inequity in canadian society, chns strive to achieve these attributes in their communities. Ethical use of power in health care. Professional power is defined as the influence stemming from the professional position we hold. We use a social justice approach, which tends to view persons as unique, connected to others, and interdependent: focuses on how persons are situated in society. Attending to social justice tends to elicit concern for issues of everyday life and not primarily with crisis issues, like moral dilemmas.
