Education: value the fact that the entry to practice is bscn, opportunities for ongoing education (masters) Empirical knowing: the science of knowing: what can be measured, anything that can"t be measured is irrelevant, source is through research and developmental theories. Personal knowing: being aware of yourself, appreciating where your values lie and what type of biases you have, if we don"t integrate this way of knowing, we wont be able to reflect and learn form our experiences. Aesthetic knowing: the art of nursing: what helps patients express their lived experience, gets to deeper meaning of life and experiences, can be expressed through stories, behaviors/actions, art forms.
