The world is a perpetually moving warehouse: everything of value is constantly circulating, this system transforms space, including mountains. So that what is transported is never standing still. Everything you buy comes from logistic systems. Many of the jobs pay starvation wages. The systems are not only streamlined, but as it is with all instance of gestell, what we are talking about here is a planetary technology. This is a system that exists to make materials ready for immediate use. Logistsics is more than just a system that works 24/7, it is also the purest expression of gestell as bestand in motion. The total mobilization of everything we encounter as standing reserves. And then bringing those materials into our commodified system: no supply chain is separate from any other. 24/7 to provide whatever we demand in ever-increasing amounts, it is also the purest expression of enframing as bestand in motion.
