The sale of goods act does 3 things: Implies terms into sales contracts (conditions and warranties: are always there because the act says they are, they are implied by statute. Implied conditions: are all for the benefit of the buyer, seller has the right to sell. If you sell me your computer, it is an implied condition of our contract that you have the right to sell: goods must match their description. If the website says it is purple but when you get it its grey, that is a breach of condition: goods must match sample, merchantable quality.
