Book vs movie level of narration and who"s narrating. How movies project humanity and how books project humanity. Katniss is the narrator we have to believe in her perspective. Movies use sound to increase build up, tension, etc. Instead of using words, as in books, they use sound to make us feel something. Book is much deeper and darker; also humanizes katniss more as oppose to the movie where she is very cold and stone faced. Sport is unpredictable, has to be to be compelling. Centrifugal force of the novel the gamemakers, the games themselves, the rebellion, Theseus and minotaur greek myth king"s wife has affair with cow and reproduces the minotaur who is then locked in a labyrinth under the castle where warriors go to fight and try to kill. Not necessarily true but reflect on some aspect of humanity. Suzanne collins offers a lot of this small things we already know.
