Were not pleased with it; feared the british. Why was it never implemented: superseded by the constitutional act of 1791, quebec divided into 2 new provinces. Treaty of paris, 1783 ends the american revolution: a terrible, diseased ridden time. Treaty of paris, 1763 ends the 7 years war. Migration into what would become canada: natives, americans, loyalists, free black slaves. Were not happy with the policies in place (e. g. how land was divided: constitutional act, 1791 sought to solve some of these problems. Constitutional act, 1791: divided into upper and lower canada.
