Kinesiology 2241A/B Lecture Notes - Lecture 6: Electrical Measurements, Mass, Force Platform
Document Summary
Technology for collecting data x-axis time 1-1. 6sec z-axis velocity- rate at which it changes its displacement. Start v=0, deviates from 0 in a negative direction, faster velocity in opposite direction until it hits its peak, then falls off until back down to 0 in the opposite direction again. Ex. downward is the bending motion of the knees and hips. 0 is when they have stopped for a brief moment of time. Then they quickly jump up, maximal velocity is when person hits the ground (vertical black line) Gravity is acting on the jump, slows you down until you reach the apex of your flight. Gain velocity is going in the opposite direction. Function: electro: measure passive range of motion, measure active range of motion. Constraining- less constraining, more confident your getting what. Only relative angles (one segment in comparison to another) May move- held on to skin only by adhesive that can slip you want to measure.
