Superficialis means it"s more superficialis vs. profundis which means deeper. Biceps means 2 heads - triceps 3 heads. Multiple heads attach the scapula- elbow and shoulder flexor. A lot of muscles indicate the region it lies with in - allows for compartmentalization. Rectus means it"s a straight muscle that has a straight pull. Means crossing legs of a tailor when they sit and tailor your pants. If you use compartments it"s much easier to memorize muscles. Zygomaticus major and minor, run from cheekbone to corner of the mouth. Attaches to zygomatic process and fascia at the corner of the mouth. Zygomaticus muscles because they do the same thing. Not all muscles of the face attach bone to bone some attach to skin or fascia. Same thing as the oris but on the eye. The shaving muscle: tightens the neck and can be seen when skin is tightened to shave.
